Our prices include ComponentSource licensing and installation support, technical support is provided directly by the publisher based on their policies for support and the type of license you purchase. For your convenience, we retain an online backup of any licensing information that we have issued directly or has been provided to us by the publisher. You can request a FREE upgrade to a new version, if it is released within 30 days of your purchase. All sales are made on our standard Terms and Conditions and subject to our Return Policy. Please if you require any licensing option not listed, including volume licensing and older versions of the product.
MadCap Lingo licenses are 12-month subscription licenses, and must be renewed in order to continue using after expiry. They include maintenance and support for the duration of the subscription period.
Renewing your MadCap Lingo subscription allows you to continue using the software for a further 12 months, and entitles you to the latest releases, and technical support services.
If you buy a new license of MadCap Lingo, you will have access to download older versions of the same product.

Timed Subscription License: You are licensed to use the software for the subscription period only.

Floating Enterprise Timed Subscription License: You are licensed to use the software for the subscription period only. Allows sharing across a pool of users by providing a single key that specifies the total number of users that can concurrently use the software. Supports image based distribution and eliminates the need to re-activate if machines are re-imaged.
Perpetual Licenses: New MadCap Lingo Perpetual Licenses are no longer available, however existing customers may continue to renew their subscription as long as they are currently on maintenance. If their maintenance has expired, they will be subject to new subscription pricing if they want to upgrade and/or purchase additional seats.

MadCap Software does not sell previous versions directly, but purchasing any new license gives you access to download older versions of the same product.
Yes. Each license can be installed on two different machines, as long as they are both on different domains.
Yes. You can deactivate your license from within the Help Ribbon, or the MadCap support team can help you transfer a license to another developer.
New MadCap Lingo licenses include a 12 month Platinum support and maintenance subscription. This provides product upgrades and updates, unlimited priority email and telephone support, access to the Senior Engineer support team, access to the knowledge base and forums, and the option to send projects directly to the support team for analysis. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pacific Time).
Only Floating and Enterprise Floating licenses need an internet connection to use the license.
MadCap Lingo licenses are time-limited and you must purchase a renewal in order to continue using the software after the subscription period ends. For further information, please see the License Agreement.
After expiry, you will no longer be licensed to use the software. In order to continue using it you must renew your subscription. For further information, please see the License Agreement.
