Redgate Monitor v14.13.0

Released: Mar 26, 2026

Updates in v14.13.0

Features

  • Added disk read and write latency metrics to the analysis page for Amazon RDS hosts.
  • Enterprise edition - SQL Audit events can now be filtered by a custom date and time range, allowing for a more granular view of audit activity.
  • The Query Executions tab is now available alongside the History tab on SQL Server instance overviews, with guidance for enabling this type of monitoring if not yet enabled for the monitored server.
  • Added support for gMSA accounts being used in the Installer UI rather than requiring automation.
  • SQL Server query plans now display information about the instance it originated from in the modal and new tabs.
  • Disabled Query Executions monitoring for SQL Server 2016 and earlier, which could cause sampling to get stuck on busy servers due to slow Extended Events log reading.

Fixes

  • Addressed a potential issue where hosts monitored via WinRM could become permanently unreachable until the Base Monitor service was restarted.
  • Improved error handling and propagation for failed Top Queries search requests.
  • Fixed an issue where certain monitored object types would not correctly raise alerts for internal monitoring errors.
  • Reduced PostgreSQL query plan data storage volume, improving repository performance.
  • Fixes an issue where retained SQL Audit data on Amazon RDS was not being read alongside the active file.
  • Fixed an issue where a single invalid alert configuration could prevent other alerts from triggering correctly.
  • GSS encryption mode is now set to disabled for PostgreSQL connection strings.
