SQL Secure v4.5Mar 5, 2025
Features
SQL Secure now allows users to assess their security risks and vulnerabilities on Azure Managed Instances. This is beneficial for customers who want to conveniently lift-n-shift their databases to Azure Cloud and/or are using a combination of on-premise and Azure cloud.
SQL Secure 4.5 includes a "generate license" button in the UI for prospects to conveniently generate a trial license.
Users can now add new filters to their security checks by selecting values from their assessment results. These filters apply to all checks where the filter is editable.
Fixes
Previously, if a database was offline, the snapshot would stop. Now the offline database is skipped and the snapshot continues to the next database object.
The Snapshot comparison Reports no longer show the Insufficient system memory error and are now generated successfully.
The Snapshot collection is now successful for Azure SQL Database.
The SQL logins not using Must Change security check is no longer showing a risk for old accounts where passwords have been already changed multiple times.
Previously, there was a collation conflict between "Danish_Norwegian_CI_AS" and "Latin1_General_CI_AS_KS_WS" in the concat operation error raised in the application event logs after completion of the snapshot. This is now fixed.
