Team Licenses are per developer and are Timed Subscription Licenses. To continue to use the software after 1 year, you must renew the subscription.

Run-time royalty free. Note: The re-distribution of Syncfusion libraries as part your software application is run-time royalty free (i.e. Without a royalty payable to Syncfusion) provided that you have a current maintenance and support subscription for the Syncfusion product.

Customer may make multiple copies of the Licensed Product, so long as Customer includes all Syncfusion proprietary rights notices on such copies. However, such multiple copies are for the exclusive use of a single developer and are only allowed for the convenience of such developer to work on more than one computer system non-simultaneously.

Technical Support - Each Syncfusion license includes a one-year subscription for unlimited technical support and updates. Support for Syncfusion products is available 24 / 5 through a custom-built support system, with responses guaranteed within a single business day. Support is also available by e-mail and phone. Syncfusion’s Direct-Trac system can be used to create support incidents and track them to completion 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allows Syncfusion licensees to maintain a complete overview of their support history.

Syncfusion Unlimited Global License
Annual subscription license that covers all developers in the licensed organization. Each can work with Syncfusion's full Developer Platform product line. Each developer must be registered via a portal. No royalties or runtime fees apply. A Master License Agreement must be signed by the customer. This license includes the use of a dedicated license management portal, 24/5 technical support, and regular updates.

Syncfusion Project License
Annual subscription license that covers all developers working on a single named project. Each can work with Syncfusion's full Developer Platform product line. Each developer must be registered via a portal. No royalties or runtime fees apply. A Master License Agreement must be signed by the customer. This license includes the use of a dedicated license management portal, 24/5 technical support, and regular updates.

Syncfusion Division License
Annual subscription license that covers all developers working in a single division/at a single physical location. Each can work with Syncfusion's full Developer Platform product line. Each developer must be registered via a portal. No royalties or runtime fees apply. A Master License Agreement must be signed by the customer. This license includes the use of a dedicated license management portal, 24/5 technical support, and regular updates.

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise licenses are temporal (annual), and you may distribute anything you created while under a valid maintenance and support subscription so long as the application/project is in its final completed form and you are not making any modifications to any part of the application/project (including patches, bug fixes or updates). You must renew your subscription in order to continue using the software. For further information, please see the License Agreement.

The Global License is also not perpetual, and requires an active subscription in order to use.

What happens after my subscription expires?

Annual licenses allow you to use the software for one year, and must be renewed in order to continue using the software after the first year. To distribute anything you have created using the software (including patches, bug fixes or updates) you must have a valid subscription. For further information, please see the License Agreement.

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes. ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

Can I upgrade / downgrade my license?

Yes. It is sometimes possible to upgrade from individual Syncfusion Essential Studio products to Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise. Please call us or send us a message to discuss your needs.

Can I add a new license / previous version to my existing Syncfusion account?

Yes. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Can I buy an old product version?

Syncfusion does not sell previous versions directly, but purchasing any new license gives you access to download older versions of the same product.

Can I install my license on more than one machine?

Yes. You may make multiple copies of the licensed product, so long as you include all Syncfusion proprietary rights notices on such copies. However, such copies are for the exclusive use of a single developer and are only allowed for the convenience of the developer to work on more than one computer system non-simultaneously.

Is Source Code available?

No. New licenses with Source Code are no longer available, but existing customers can continue to renew their Source Code subscriptions.

Can a license be transferred from one developer to another?

Syncfusion only allows license transfers for active subscribers within the same organization in exceptional cases. Please contact your account manager to request further information.

What type of support do I get?

All Syncfusion licenses include a one-year subscription for unlimited support including access to Direct-Trac, Syncfusion's support system, which facilitates web-based contact with engineers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Direct-Trac allows Syncfusion customers to enter questions, track responses, and review solutions.

Does this product require online / offline activation?

Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise requires online activation.
