Hi,
I am using the evaluation version of the dundas chart for Reporting Services 2005. I am facing a weired problem. My x axis represents months of the year and Y axis the data for those months. I am using the FastLine Chart type to draw the chart, the problem is that if the base value of the Y axis doesn't start from "0" and I don't have value for a particular month (i.e. the databsse returns a NULL for that particular month), The chart gets dragged to the x axis.
Ex - I have 4 months Jan, Feb , March, April plotted on the x axis and the Y axis data for the corresponding months are (NULL, NULL,3,9). The base value for the Y axis is 2 (Can't start from 0 because of some business requirement). In this case the line appears to start from in between Feb and March and touching the x axis. Ideally the line should only start from March and the value as 3.
Is this a Dundas control limitation or is there any work around available for it?
Please Advice.
Regards,
Shashi
