Add advanced charting to your ASP.NET applications. Dundas Chart ASP.NET Enterprise Edition is a fully managed, CLR (Common Language Runtime) compliant charting component designed for ASP.NET development. Included is support for all standard and many advanced chart types, drilldown functionality, full Visual Studio Integrated help, a variety of different image formats and intuitive samples and examples to speed up development time. Graphics take full advantage of GDI+ and the use of transparency, anti-aliasing, gradients and more. Dundas Chart for ASP.NET Enterprise Edition includes many advanced features including: formula support, data grouping, data filtering and advanced chart types.

What’s new in Dundas Chart V7.1? - V7.1 fixes these issues:

AlwaysRecreateHotregions="True" in WinForms templates or templates generated by Chart Builder causes the Exception Can't deserialize property. Unknown property name "AlwaysRecreateHotregions" in object Dundas.Charting.WebControl.Chart" when de-serialized in ASP.NET Chart. This property only exists in the WinForms Chart. The ASP.NET Chart ignores this property by default now.

Chart .NET: Stacked Column + 3D throws an Index was out of range exception when series have a different number of data points

The accumulation distribution formula is incorrect; if open and close are the same it will divide by zero. A friendlier exception message is thrown when this happens.

Flash charts did not draw with wmode=transparentproperty set inside the <object> tag in the rendered HTML. This cause them to be always drawn on top of all other elements on the page. FlashAlwaysOnTop property added. If set to false it will add the wmode property to allow other DHTML objects to draw on top of the Flash

Pie chart does not collect slices when using Turkish culture

Grouping by 3 months leaves the first month out if it is on the first day of the period.

Chart should not assume XValueIndex with all 0 datapoints. IndexWhenXIsZero added. When set to false and all points have an x-value of 0, the points will not index but all draw at 0

Pie Plus Custom Chart Type - Building on the ability to create custom chart types, Dundas has created a new kind of pie chart that gives you far more visualization versatility. While all your favourite elements and drawing styles are maintained, the new Pie Plus chart type gives you seven fresh additional drawing styles.

Contour Custom Chart Type - Need to render elevation or contours for your data visualization? The Contour chart type lets you convert any series into a contour map.

Tree Map Chart Type - Another chart type requested by Dundas customers, the innovative Tree Map custom chart type shows any two metrics at once, using both size and color. Think of it as a "heat map of a heat map" - it's great for things like stock indexes or tracking the status of your favorite sports teams.

Colored Area Custom Chart Types - Looking for a way to highlight a section of a chart? The new Colored Area chart types let you color a range in Area, Spline Area, Range and Spline Range charts, based on X values.

Cycle Plot Add-on - The new cycle plot add-on lets you visualize data from similar time periods and compare them together in an easily understandable way (i.e. compare every February for the last 10 years, compare every Tuesday for the year, etc).

Wafer Custom Chart Type - This new custom chart type (also known as a wafer map) is part of V7.0 of Dundas Chart for .NET.

Timeline Custom Chart Type - Looking for a way to view event data in the form of a timeline? Dundas Chart for .NET V7.0 gives you the ability to do this.

Other New Features in V7.0 - Additional new features in V7.0 include Pair Bar Helper, Horizontal Box Plot Helper, Threshold Line Helper Add-on, Global Font Add-on, Stacked Pareto Helper and Circular Chart Paint Helper.

New Rose Chart Styles - Two new Rose Chart types have been added: Stacked and Radial Gap. Both requested by Dundas customers, Stacked allows you to display one set of data atop another for a more versatile Rose Chart. The Radial Gap offers the option of providing a hole in the center of the Rose Chart - a subtle change, but it offers a similar visual difference in the way a Pie Chart can become a Doughnut Chart

Vertical Column Labels - A new attribute for 2D column charts, labels can now be painted vertically inside the column, adding greater flexibility when considering labels

Rose Charts - Version 6.0 of Dundas Chart includes the new Rose Chart type. The Rose Chart type is a circular chart that allows for great data comparison between data series. (Part of the Enterprise Edition).

Chart Builder - The new Chart Builder lets developers and non- developers alike, quickly create, modify and enhance new and existing charts with just a few clicks. With full import/export abilities, and more.

New Palettes - Dundas Chart has added new 11 new Color palettes to the original Dundas Chart Palettes. These Palettes include Acid Wash, Art Deco, Dundas Dark, Kindergarten, Milkshake, Mild Day, Rainbow Vapors, Tanzanite, Tan, Vegas, and Water Lilies.

Renko Chart Type (Enterprise Edition only) - Renko charts isolate the underlying price trend by filtering out the minor price changes. They can be very useful for determining major trend lines or support and resistance levels.

Kagi Chart Type (Enterprise Edition only) - Kagi charts display a series of connecting vertical lines where the thickness and direction of the lines are dependent on the price action. These charts ignore the passage of time but can be used illustrate the forces of supply and demand on a security.

Point and Figure Chart Type (Enterprise Edition only) - Point and Figure Chart uses a series of X's and O's to determine price trends. They show trends by eliminating minor price trends and time and focuses on long term indicators. The X' represent an upward trend and the O's represent a downward trend.

Three Line Break Chart Type (Enterprise Edition only) - These charts display a series of vertical boxes ("lines") that are based on changes in prices. Similar to Kagi, Renko, and Point & Figure charts, Three Line Break charts ignore the passage of time.

Chart template support - Create a chart with the look and feel you want, save the appearance properties, or the full chart as a template and use them on future charts to save time, and ensure consistency.
