This edition integrated .NET Reflector directly into Microsoft Visual Studio, enabling in-IDE decompilation and navigation of .NET assemblies. It allowed developers to debug and analyze third-party code without leaving the Visual Studio environment. Users are now directed to use .NET Reflector VSPro or .NET Reflector Standard as alternatives.

Redgate’s DLM Automation Suite for Oracle is no longer offered as a standalone product. As of its replacement, the Oracle automation tools are now included within the Deployment Suite for Oracle . The change reflects that the suite now encompasses both schema and data comparison/deployment tooling for Oracle under the broader Deployment Suite.

Developed by Redgate, Exception Hunter was a static analysis tool that identified potential exceptions in .NET code paths. With the release of .NET 4.0 and WPF, the Common Language Runtime (CLR) introduced a significantly larger number of possible exceptions, reducing the tool’s practicality. The resulting volume of reported exceptions made the analysis less actionable, leading Redgate to retire the product in favor of maintaining its commitment to simplicity and usability.

Developed by Red Gate, Exchange Server Archiver (ESA) was an on-premises email archiving solution for Microsoft Exchange Server. It offered features such as journaling, storage management, and compliance-driven retention and search capabilities. Although existing installations remain functional and Red Gate will honor current support contracts, expired contracts cannot be renewed. Development and distribution of the product have ceased.

ReadyRoll Pro by Redgate is no longer available as a standalone product. It is now included as part of SQL Toolbelt, Redgate’s comprehensive suite for SQL Server development and deployment. This change consolidates Redgate’s tools to offer a unified solution for database professionals.

Retired on December 3, 2014, .NET Demon was a Visual Studio extension developed by Redgate to provide continuous code compilation and performance analysis. It supported Visual Studio 2010 through 2013, offering faster feedback during development. Redgate ended development due to the introduction of the Roslyn compiler in Visual Studio 2015, which introduced similar capabilities. Existing licenses remain valid, but no further updates or support are provided.

This bundle included a collection of Redgate tools for .NET and SQL Server development. Redgate now recommends the Redgate Developer Bundle as a replacement, which offers a revised set of tools tailored for modern development workflows.

Previously a bundle of Visual Studio productivity extensions, this pack has been superseded by the Redgate Developer Bundle, which includes updated tools for .NET development in Visual Studio.

Retired on October 1, 2014, Redgate Deployment Manager Enterprise was designed for large-scale application deployment automation. While existing installations remain functional, development has ended and support concluded on October 1, 2015.

Retired on October 1, 2014, this edition was targeted at individual developers and small teams. Existing users may continue to use it, but Redgate no longer develops or supports the product.

It has been replaced by SQL Toolbelt Essentials, which excludes SQL Dependency Tracker, SQL Connect, SQL Packager, and SQL Refactor. Existing licenses continue to work, and supported components will receive updates if covered under a valid support contract.

Retired on April 1, 2015, this toolset has been succeeded by the Redgate DLM Automation Suite, which offers modern database lifecycle management capabilities.

Support for SQL HyperBac and SQL Virtual Restore ended on February 6, 2015. Redgate continues to support SQL Backup Pro, which remains available separately. Customers with affected licenses were offered equivalent value licenses for other Redgate tools.

It has been replaced by the SQL DBA Bundle, which includes SQL HyperBac and SQL Virtual Restore alongside other administration tools.

Redgate recommends SQL Backup Pro as the supported replacement for advanced SQL Server backup and restore functionality.

SQL Change Automation by Redgate is no longer sold separately. It is now part of SQL Toolbelt, Redgate’s all-in-one suite for SQL Server development and deployment. This integration provides a complete set of tools for version control, continuous integration, and release management within a single package.

SQL Compare Pro and SQL Compare Standard are no longer available as separate editions. In May 2023, Redgate replaced both products with a single offering, SQL Compare, available exclusively as a subscription license.

SQL Compare continues to provide SQL Server schema comparison and synchronization for database development and deployment. It combines the capabilities previously available across the Standard and Pro editions into a single subscription-based product, enabling developers and database administrators to compare database schemas, generate deployment scripts, and synchronize database changes with one license.

Redgate SQL Comparison Bundle has been retired and is no longer available for individual purchase. It has been replaced by the Redgate SQL Toolbelt, which includes the main tools from the original bundle. All tools remain fully supported, except SQL Packager, and continue to receive updates for customers with active Support & Upgrades.

This software development kit enabled programmatic comparison and synchronization of SQL Server schema and data, using Redgate’s core comparison engines. It was commonly used to embed SQL change automation into custom deployment workflows. Redgate now provides this functionality through DLM Automation, available as part of Redgate SQL Toolbelt.

SQL Data Compare Pro is no longer sold as a separate product from Redgate Software. Its functionality is now included in SQL Data Compare, providing database administrators (DBAs) and developers with tools to compare and synchronize Microsoft SQL Server database data. SQL Data Compare helps identify differences between database contents, generate synchronization scripts, and keep data consistent across development, test, and production environments.

This suite included tools for managing sensitive data in SQL Server environments, combining data classification, masking, and monitoring capabilities. It was designed to help organizations meet compliance requirements such as GDPR. Redgate no longer offers this bundle, and its components have either been retired or integrated into other Redgate solutions.

Redgate SQL DBA Bundle was retired in April 2023 and is no longer available for purchase. It has been replaced by the Redgate SQL Toolbelt, which includes the key components of the former bundle: SQL Backup Pro, SQL Monitor, and SQL Multi Script. These tools continue to be fully supported and are now available as part of the broader SQL Toolbelt offering.

Support ended on February 6, 2015. SQL HyperBac offered transparent compression and encryption for SQL Server backups, helping to reduce storage requirements and transfer times. Redgate retired the product to focus on core database administration tools. Affected customers were offered free licenses for Redgate SQL Backup Pro as a replacement, with requests accepted through June 30, 2014.

Red Gate has now stopped selling SQL Packager. This means that additional copies of SQL Packager, and extensions to support contracts, are no longer available. If you have a license for SQL Packager, it will still work and you can keep using it for as long as you like, but Red Gate won't be doing more work on the tool, so unfortunately there won't be any further updates and Red Gate won't be supporting SQL Server 2014 or later.

This bundle previously packaged SQL Prompt with other Redgate developer tools. Redgate has since consolidated its offerings, and SQL Prompt is now available as a standalone product or as part of SQL Toolbelt Essentials . SQL Toolbelt Essentials includes SQL Prompt along with other tools for SQL Server development and deployment.

This edition was retired with the release of SQL Prompt 6.0, which consolidated all features into a single unified product. Users of the Standard edition now need to use the full version of Redgate SQL Prompt to access continued updates and feature support.

Retired with the release of Redgate SQL Prompt 5, SQL Refactor offered SQL Server code restructuring features for developers working in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Its key functionalities, such as wildcard expansion, smart rename, and encapsulating SQL as stored procedures, have been integrated into the current version of Redgate SQL Prompt, which now provides a unified environment for both code refactoring and productivity enhancements.

Support for this SQL Server storage optimization tool ended on February 6, 2015. SQL Storage Compress enabled transparent data compression to reduce database storage requirements. Redgate retired the product to concentrate on its core database administration tools. Affected customers were offered equivalent-value licenses for other Redgate products, with requests accepted through June 30, 2014.

Support ended on February 6, 2015. SQL Virtual Restore allowed users to mount SQL Server backups as live databases without full restores, significantly reducing recovery times. Redgate discontinued the tool as part of a strategic focus shift. Users were eligible to request alternative licenses of equivalent value through June 30, 2014.
