ActiveReports.NET is licensed on a per-developer (or build-machine) basis with no per-user fees and no run-time royalties. A New License is a perpetual license, which means you pay once, and can use the license for as long as you want. It is available with or without an Annual Maintenance service.
A Maintenance Renewal is the most cost-effective way to ensure that you have the latest features. If you do not renew your license you are entitled to use your licensed version, but will not have access to any new versions that are released.
If your maintenance period has expired, you will need to purchase an Upgrade License in order to use the latest version of the software.

One software license is required per-developer who designs, develops or maintains applications using ActiveReports.NET. A developer may install their license on up to two machines.
Dependent on geographic location, licenses may be available as an Annual (Timed) Subscription License or as a Perpetual License with a 1 Year Support and Update Subscription.
Annual (Timed) Subscription License (Only available in select geographic locations)
Licensed per developer on a yearly subscription basis. You can build and publish .NET applications using ActiveReports.NET components during your subscription period. You must renew your Annual Subscription License to continue to use the software.
Published applications are Royalty Free and do not expire, however if you do not renew your subscription license you will no longer be able to develop with the components. If you need to build and compile new applications, or make updates to existing applications you will need to purchase an Annual Subscription License.

Developer Licenses are perpetual. The perpetual license entitles you to build .NET applications using the ActiveReports.NET components. The applications you build can be distributed royalty-free.
The optional maintenance After your support and updates subscription expires, you can renew to receive another year of updates. If you choose not to renew, you can continue using the last version of the controls you are eligible to use.
