SocketTools is a collection of components designed to simplify the integration of Internet functionality into applications. It is ideal for developers who require the rapid development features of a component without requiring in-depth knowledge of how the various Internet protocols are implemented. Included are components for uploading and downloading files, sending and retrieving email messages, remote command execution and terminal emulation.

  • New text messaging (SMS gateway) component that enables an application to send SMS text messages to a mobile device using a wireless carrier's gateway service
  • Support for secure connections using TLS version 1.1 and 1.2
