TX Text Control .NET Server X13 released

TX Text Control .NET Server is a server side component for ASP.NET. It is a fully programmable word processor engine that offers an extensive palette of word processing features. Using TX Text Control .NET Server, programmers can develop server side, end user applications that generate documents on-the-fly, using data from databases, binary files (Microsoft Word DOC and DOCX), ASCII files (XML, RTF, HTML) and image data (JPG, PNG, BMP, TIF, GIF, WMF). Typical applications include document management, mail merge or document output management software. Documents can be created, modified and edited in a browser or printed in batch processes. All documents can be exported to print-ready Adobe PDF documents without any third-party software.

• MVC Version with NuGet Package - An MVC version of Web.TextControl is now available that can be used as an HtmlHelper extension without any Web Forms or AJAX UpdatePanels.
• New DocumentViewer Style - New style includes new buttons, a radial gradient background color, rounded document corners and animation when flipping through pages.
• Shapes and Drawings - Insert and edit Microsoft Word compatible drawings and shapes.
• New Merge Blocks - This new element is a range of text that includes other elements such as tables, paragraphs, merge fields, images or shapes.
• Performance Boost - Using merging blocks during Mail Merging has increased overall performance up to 40%.
• New Dialog Boxes - TX Text Control X13 provides new dialog boxes to insert symbol characters, hyperlinks and bookmarks.
• Unicode Bullet Characters - The bullet character is no longer limited to the Windows Symbol font, it can now be any Unicode character.
• Extended Document Properties - Document properties including keywords, author or creation date can be exported to all supported text formats.
