Características

Altova XMLSpy Enterprise XML Editor

  • XBRL Taxonomy Manager - The XBRL Taxonomy Manager allows you to:
    • View XBRL taxonomies installed on your computer and check whether new versions are available for download.
    • Install or uninstall any of the multiple versions of a given taxonomy (or all versions if necessary). Dependent taxonomies are also installed or removed automatically.
    • Download newer versions of XBRL taxonomies as soon as they become available, independently of the Altova product release cycle.
  • COVID-19 related taxonomy updates - In response to measures related to the COVID-19 crisis, the European Banking Authority has issued updated reporting and disclosure requirements. These are designed to accommodate, for instance, emergency legislation on pausing loan repayment schedules and the resulting impact on financial institutions. As such, the corresponding local XBRL taxonomies for reporting to the EBA have been updated with these temporary changes. The XBRL Taxonomy Manager (described above) includes these updated taxonomies.
  • Multiple improvements to JSON Grid View - The new JSON Grid View introduced in XMLSpy 2020 has received some updates and enhancements in this newest version. These include:
    • New entry helper windows: siblings, children, values.
    • New copy/paste options including:
      • Copy as JSON text.
      • Copy as structured text (TSV).
      • Copy as image.
      • Copy XPath.
      • Copy JSON Pointer.
    • Mouse-over tool tips to help users take advantage of grid view features.
    • Keyboard shortcuts for expanding/collapsing sections, zooming in and out.
    • Option to turn off word-wrap.
    • Option for right-to-left reading order for relevant languages.
    • Option to group sibling nodes by 100, 1000, or 10K for very large files.
  • Improved support for JSON $id - The JSON $id property provides a unique identifier for a JSON Schema and is often used when combining multiple smaller schemas. XMLSpy now supports $id during schema validation.
  • New Altova extension functions to retrieve schema-related info - To make schema-aware processing easier, two new functions (altovaext:type and altovaext:schema) make it possible to read schema information about XML nodes when processing XML instance files with XSLT, XPath, and XQuery.
  • Updated support for MariaDB - Support for MariaDB has been updated to include the latest versions, 10.4 and 10.5.

Altova MapForce Enterprise Edition

  • Added support for SWIFT messages (including ISO 15022) - SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) is a global provider of financial messaging services. MapForce now allows mapping SWIFT data to or from any other MapForce-supported format, including databases, XML, JSON, other EDI formats, and more.
  • Conversion of EDI to XML without mapping - MapForce can now convert EDI straight to XML with one click - without the need for specifying a target XSD or performing any manual mapping.
  • Arbitrary location of EDI configuration files - You can now store custom EDI collections in a directory of your choice to facilitate sharing of data mapping projects among multiple MapForce users.
  • Added support for SQL left outer Join - When joining multiple database tables or views using SQL Join components in a mapping, you can now set the join mode as either left outer join or inner join.
  • Dynamic assignment of URLs for REST Web services at runtime - When calling a REST Web service, you can now supply the URL of the Web service as parameter to the mapping. This option provides extra flexibility when you need complete control over the URL and would like to specify it at mapping runtime.
  • Read/write binary files - Added new functions (read-binary-file and write-binary-file) which allows you to include binary files such as PDFs or images as part of the export of data to XML or a database.

This is now possible using the design Properties dialog. Specified files will be transported with the PDF and can be viewed by end users in the Attachments pane of their PDF reader.

  • Added the ability to convert meta classes - It’s now possible to right-click an element to convert its meta class, e.g., to convert a class to an interface or vice versa. This provides increased flexibility for updating existing models.

Altova DataBaseSpy Enterprise Edition

  • Added option to show multiple database root objects - Many database types support multiple root objects, and these can now be shown in the DatabaseSpy Online Browser pane where current database connections are visualized.
  • Added option to stop SQL execution at specific command(s) - By default, SQL scripts run through even if an error occurs with a SQL command, which can be problematic when SQL scripts contain multiple statements. Now, in addition to the option to halt SQL execution as soon as the first error is returned, you can abort execution (or not) when an error is returned for a specific command by adding a comment to your SQL script.
    • The comment and parameters are: -- abort_execution_on_error: true|false|yes|no|y|n|1|0.
    • You can add the comment anywhere in the script and it will affect only those SQL statements that follow it.
  • Updated support for MariaDB - Support for MariaDB has been updated to include the latest versions, 10.4 and 10.5.

Altova DiffDog Enterprise Edition
