• xsi namespace not declared if unused - Whereas the xsi namespace is used by convention in XML Schema, not all XBRL taxonomies use this namespace. To improve compatibility with applications that consume Solvency II XBRL reports, the xsi namespace is now not declared unless it’s used in the current taxonomy.
