On July 1, 2012, ComponentOne and GrapeCity joined forces, creating ComponentOne, a division of GrapeCity.
The US GrapeCity PowerTools division was renamed to ComponentOne.

Updates in V1.6.1871.8

  • Visual Stuido 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 are now supported.
  • It is now possible to programmatically render a report loaded in the preview control to another format without displaying a dialog to the user.
  • Data Dynamics Reports is compatible with the Client Profile configurations of 3.5 and 4.0 versions of the .NET Framework. As part of this change the Oracle data provider is now a separate assembly.
  • The expression editor dialog now shifts focus to the expression textbox after using the insert, append, or replace commands.
  • A new StreamProvider has been implemented, MemoryStreamProvider can be used in situations where you want the contents of rendering to stay in memory.
