Updates in Syncfusion Essential PDF 2010 Vol 3
- A number of formatting issues in EMF to PDF conversion have been fixed, so Essential PDF can now render vertical text in a metafile.
- The FileStream object now closes for the ImportDataXFDF function
- Text extraction is now properly performed in documents converted from HTML
- The ImageInfo property of a page no longer throws the wrong value of a bound
- XFDF data can now be imported into PDF forms
- An exception is no longer thrown when merging documents
- Form fields of some documents are no longer lost while applying security settings
- HTML with English text and Chinese fonts now converts properly in Chinese operating systems
- Xobjects in documents are now preserved when flattening form fields
- When a table row is split across pages, the euro symbol in the second page will now be rendered
- Adobe Reader no longer throws an error when encrypting documents using Essential PDF
- The merge functionality now merges bookmarks in a document created using Essential PDF
- Default security encryption now restricts all available permissions
- A PDF document's form fields can now be accessed using their field names
- Non-ASCII characters are now properly extracted from text-box fields
- PDF Grid no longer throws an exception when adding the euro symbol

- The "Null Reference" exception is no longer thrown while saving a PDF document with form fields
- An error no longer occurs when reading the bookmark destinations of some documents
- The Paginate bounds property of LayoutFormat now works for the first page of a PDF document
- Adding watermarks to merged PDF forms no longer displays the text behind the form fields
- Files with Unicode file names can now be linked using PdfLaunchAction
- Column spanning can now be achieved in PDF Grid header cells
