The PDF to Image Converter is composed of components of the PDF Xpansion SDK. It loads a document from any file or stream that conforms to the PDF specification (versions 1.0 - 1.7), to ISO 32000 standards (versions 1 and 2).
Functionality at a glance:
- After opening a PDF file or stream, the pages of a PDF or the whole PDF can be rendered and exported to raster image files: BMP, TIF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc.
- Define image DPI (from low like 48 to high like 1200) and image format (BMP, JPEG with various compression/quality levels, TIFF including multipage TIFF, and PNG).
- Allow the user of your app or desktop program to set the compression level when a JPEG image is saved: compression can be equal to or higher than 0 % and lower than or equal to 100 %, thus users are enabled to specify the quality / compression rate ratio.
