Syncfusion Essential XlsIO features a full-fledged object model (similar to the Microsoft Office automation libraries) and a wide range of functionality. The library is compatible with the BIFF 8 format and the Office 1997-2010 formats. Essential XlsIO’s extensive feature set includes support for cell formatting, creating and applying custom styles, applying conditional formatting, formula processing, charts, merging workbooks, security settings, and more. Also provided is support for exporting an Excel file to the PDF, Word, and HTML formats. Syncfusion Essential XlsIO does not use COM Interop and has been optimized for usage on servers where speed and memory usage are critical and large amounts of data are involved. It works more than 100x faster than Microsoft Excel automation and consumes much less memory compared to MS Excel. This 100% C# library allows users to create and modify richly formatted, standards-compliant document-based reports in Windows Forms, ASP.NET, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, and Silverlight applications. Essential XlsIO features simple, hassle-free licensing, with no per-server fees, distribution fees, or royalties. It’s available stand-alone or as part of Syncfusion’s Essential Studio Enterprise Edition and Essential Studio Reporting Edition packages.
