• Entity Framework Core Data Source component:
  • Developers can now bind reports directly to Entity Framework Core DbContext models using a dedicated data source component. The new EF Core Data Source is available in the Standalone Report Designer for .NET and the Web Report Designer, with support for design-time data preview, Shared Data Sources, and parameterized queries.
• What's Improved:
  • The Windows distribution of Report Server for .NET is now bundled with Standalone Report Designer for .NET.
  • The Reporting engine now loads available rendering extensions on demand for faster application startup.
  • The Reporting engine now supports Firebird .NET Client Data Provider out-of-the-box without manual configuration.
  • The HTML5 Report Viewer now uses CSP-compliant templates instead of inline templates.

• Web Designer:
  • Fixed issue where an HtmlTextBox containing two paragraph (P) elements is not rendered correctly.
• Processing:
  • Fixed issue where incorrect headers are applied when encoding a UPS MaxiCode barcode.
  • Fixed issue where the RAG optimization of AI-Powered Insights is not applied when the AI model returns a formatted boolean response.
  • Fixed issue where a race condition in the cache locking mechanism may break the exclusive locking on Linux/macOS.
  • Fixed issue where NavigateToReport actions do not work in some report directory configurations.
• HTML Rendering:
  • Fixed issue where font substitution does not take effect and the original font is used instead.
• Server REST API:
  • Fixed issue where a 'Provided document Id has expired' error occurs intermittently for report image requests behind a load balancer.
