SourceAnywhere V6.0 adds revamped UI

SourceAnywhere for VSS enables you to use Visual SourceSafe easily over the Internet. With SourceAnywhere for VSS, you can perform most SourceSafe operations from any remote location using standard TCP/IP access. SourceAnywhere for VSS consists of a Server and a Client. They can communicate over any standard TCP/IP connection, including a PPP connection over a modem, an ISDN line, or an Ethernet connection on the same LAN as the Server.

• Greatly improved interface of SourceAnywhere for VSS. More friendly to use.
• Users can customize skin styles for SourceAnywhere for VSS Client.
• Added support for locating to a specific SourceAnywhere for VSS project directly by typing its path into Source location.
• Added hyperlink of working folder which allows users to explore local working folder by a click.
• Added support for customizing personalized menu bar and toolbars.
• Added prompt messages for operations on shared files. Users will receive a warning message when doing Check Out/Check In/Undo Check Out operations on a file which was checked out to another location.
• Project Diff operation greatly improved in Windows GUI Client.
• Allows users to perform operations, such as Add Files, Delete, Get, Check Out/In, Undo Check Out, Show Difference, Reconcile All, in the Project Difference dialog box.
• Added Advanced options for choosing files to show in the Project Differences dialog box.
• Added support for sharing historical version of project in Project History Dialog Box. Files in historical version of project will be pinned automatically after being shared.
• Added support for integrating SourceAnywhere for VSS with Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.
• Added support for moving files/folders in IDE.
• Added support for integrating SourceAnywhere for VSS with uniPaaS.
• Improved dialog box viewing mode for File/Project History Dialog Box and Search Result Dialog Box. Users now can view multiple of these dialog boxes concurrently.
• Added support for SOCKS 4, SOCKS 5 and HTTP proxy in Cache Server Manager.
• Added optional merge modes.
• Added support for performing check in/undo check out/ get latest version operations on multi-files from different directories in Status Search Result Dialog Box.
• Optimized integration with Visual Studio.
