SQL Data Compare 11.5 released

SQL Data Compare compares and synchronizes data. It helps you compare and deploy database changes quickly and simply, with zero errors. You can work with live databases, backups or SQL scripts in source control. With the command line interface you can automate tasks and schedule comparisons to easily create an audit trail. Damaged or missing data can be restored to a single row, without the need for a full database recovery.

Updates in 11.5

• SQL Data Compare now has a SHA-256 digital signature.
• 64-bit support - SQL Data Compare will now run as a 64-bit process on a 64-bit OS. This applies to both the main application GUI and the SQLDataCompare.exe command-line.
• Azure v12 and SQL Server 2016 connectivity - SQL Data Compare can now connect to Azure v12 and SQL Server 2016 RC0 instances.
  (This does not include support for any new features of SQL Server 2016. New feature support will be released in SQL Data Compare 12.)
• Compare and deploy data in memory-optimized tables.
• Compare and deploy data in tables with clustered columnstore indexes.
• Backup commands are now included in the deployment script which means you can back up the target when you create a deployment script to run in Management Studio.
