Barcode Reader, from Dynamsoft, enables you to efficiently embed barcode reading functionality in your Web and desktop applications using just a few lines of code. You can decode barcodes from BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF and PDF image file formats and device-independent bitmap (DIB) formats which can be obtained from cameras or scanners.

Updates in 4.2

  • New Linux Server Edition - The new edition enables you to embed barcode reading into your PHP application for deployment on Linux servers (Debian, Ubuntu or CentOS).
  • Changed 1D barcode decoding module to improve recognition accuracy.
  • Improved ResultPoints property to adjust the sequence of barcode corner points. Now the top-left corner of the barcode is the starting point and results are returned in a clockwise direction.
