Aggiornamenti in September 2020

Funzionalità

  • Perl Catalog Expansion - The Perl catalog now has more than 98% of the modules, libraries and dependencies in MetaCPAN. Try the ActiveState Platform to build your own Perl environment.
  • ActivePython 3.7.8 Community Edition Available - ActivePython 3.7.8 Community Edition (CE) for Microsoft Windows and Linux is now available, and includes updates to key packages including Bleach, Pillow and Django.
  • Tcl 8.6.10 Core Now Available - ActiveState are excited to announce that Tcl 8.6.10 core is now available for Microsoft Windows and Linux on the ActiveState Platform. This means you can now create a custom Tcl 8.6.10 build. Tcl 8.6.10 includes updates to a number of popular packages including http, Itcl, Thread, sqlite and tdbc.
  • Avoid Dependency Hell - The ActiveState Platform’s new Dependency Solver will automatically resolve dependencies for you. Where it can’t, error messages should be much clearer than its predecessor, simplifying dependency conflict resolution. The ActiveState Platform aims to handle every dependency for every language. That means handling libraries down to the C/C++ level, external tools, and all the conditional dependencies that exist. To take things even further, the ultimate goal is to support multi-language projects. That means that you can create a project using both Python and Perl packages, and ActiveState will make sure that both languages are using the same (up to date) OpenSSL version.
