• Improved the performance to refresh the file/project list
• Improved the performance to Get file/project, especially when it is recursive
• Improved the performance of 'Check In' by reducing the frequency of status query
• Improved the performance of 'Undo Check Out'
• Improved the performance of 'Add Files'
• Improved the performance of 'Status Search'. It now only searches among checked out files.
• Improved the simultaneous capacity. More users and VSS databases can be handled by Version 6.2 simultaneously.
• Able to track the 'computer name' in 'check out path' with Visual SourceSafe 2005 API.
• Support project switching in different databases in IDE.
• Support drag & drop operation to share file/project in Windows GUI client.
• Display 'Modification Time' in the File List Columns instead of 'Check In Time'.
• COM SDK fully compatible with DEP.
• More detailed error/warning messages of Server Manager to help users troubleshoot problems.
