• Web PDF Viewer
  • Erase ink annotations - The PDF Viewer supports an ink eraser tool, allowing users to remove portions of ink annotations. The tool is available contextually when working with ink and can also be enabled programmatically.
  • Filter annotation comments - A new filtering option in the comments panel allows users to narrow down annotations based on specific criteria. For improved context, filtered results can also be visually indicated within the document, making it easier to focus on relevant annotations during review.
  • Improved annotation download - Significant improvements have been made to annotation processing during document downloads. Performance has increased by up to 92% for documents with more than 30 annotations and by around 35% for smaller documents. This provides quicker downloads and a more responsive experience when working with annotated PDFs.
• Blazor PDF Viewer
  • View formatted bookmark text - Added support for rendering bookmark text in view-only mode with the formatting styles defined in the source document. Bookmarks are displayed exactly as authored, preserving their original styling and structure while improving readability and navigation.
• .NET MAUI PDF Viewer
  • Control double-tap zoom behavior - Developers can enable or disable double-tap zoom functionality in the PDF Viewer. This provides greater control over user interactions, especially in applications with custom gesture handling or restricted zoom scenarios.
  • Set all PDF form fields to read-only - The PDF Viewer provides an option to mark all form fields as read-only with a single setting. This is useful in scenarios such as document reviews or when displaying finalized forms, ensuring data integrity by preventing unintended modifications.
