  • Common
    • WinUI controls have been upgraded to Microsoft Windows App SDK 1.2.
  • MaskedTextBox (New)
    • The .NET WinUI SfMaskedTextBox is an advanced version of the input control that restricts input of certain characters, text, and numbers by using a mask pattern. This control is used to create a template for providing information such as telephone numbers, email IDs, IP addresses, product keys, and so on. Key features:
      • MaskTypes - The input can be masked with a fixed or variable length by setting the mask type to simple or regex, respectively.
      • PromptChar - Customize the prompt characters used to set the default characters as input in the absence of input.
      • Value - Enter values and clipboard operations in the control based on the ValueMaskFormat property.
      • ValueMaskFormat - Setting formatted values in the control using mask format values such as prompt, literals, and both.
      • Customization - Customize the UI of the masked text box.
  • Rating (Preview)
    • Orientation - The Rating control now allows users to arrange rating items either vertically or horizontally.
  • PDF Library
    • Image redaction - Redaction is the process of permanently removing sensitive or confidential data from a PDF document. The PDF Library now supports image redaction.
    • Lock digital signature in PDF - A digital signature is used to ensure the integrity and authenticity of a PDF document. The PDF Library now includes a feature to lock individual signatures in a PDF document. If the signature is locked, users cannot copy, edit, or extract from the PDF document.
    • Animation support in 3D annotations - 3D annotations are used to embed 3D objects in a PDF document. These annotations can be interactively viewed with PDF viewers such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Foxit, and others. The PDF Library now supports adding animation to 3D annotations. This animation can be played by the PDF viewer application.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint Library
    • Find and replace - The PowerPoint Library now supports the find functionality in PowerPoint presentations. Users can perform the following actions using this feature:
      • Find and replace text in all PowerPoint slides or a specific slide.
      • Replace text by matching case, whole words only, all occurrences, or first occurrence alone.
    • Find and highlight - Using the find functionality in the PowerPoint Library, users can now find and highlight text in all presentation slides or a specific slide.
  • Ribbon (Preview)
    • Compact sizing for Ribbon - The ribbon control now supports rendering a high density layout using the compact mode.
  • TreeGrid
    • Microsoft Excel exporting - TreeGrid now allows you to export the grid data to Microsoft Excel.
  • Microsoft Word Library
    • Word-to-Markdown conversion - The Word Library now supports converting an existing Word document or a new document created from scratch using the Word Library to a Markdown file. Users can also customize the image data while converting a Word document to Markdown.
    • Save chart as image - Added support for converting charts in Word documents to images.
