Just purchased ComponentOne True DBGrid Pro 8.0. I cannot recommend it. The documentation is poor and the examples are antiquated (based on VB6). The Help has not been updated to include newer database technologies, ie Dynamic Data, LINQ, etc. If you are hoping for an intuitive, drag and drop experience, look elsewhere.

I have used ComponentOne components for three years. Their documentation is a little on the sparce side. The DBGrid is a little flakey. Tech support is poor. The license and patch management utility doesn't work reliably. When upgrading to a newer version of the DBGrid I had to delete all the old controls and start from scratch. The grid functionality is far inferior to most of its competitors.

Quite simply the best grid control available. I have used it for 4 years, and in this time I have never found anything (grid related at least) it can't do.
