Il existe deux ensembles de distinctions : ComponentSource Bestselling Product Awards for 2010-2011 et ComponentSource Bestselling Publisher Awards for 2010-2011. Explication des distinctions Bestselling Product

Les produits se sont chacun vu attribuer une distinction Top 5, Top 10, Top 25, Top 50 ou Top 100 Bestselling Product pour 2010-2011, sur la base du classement suivant :

valeur totale des commandes en USD $ pour le produit individuel
pour les ventes réalisées auprès de nos clients dans plus de 180 pays dans le monde
moins la valeur des remboursements effectués en raison de problèmes liés au produit
entre le 1er janvier 2010 et le 31 décembre 2010 inclus
les ventes réalisées dans des devises autres que l’USD $ ont été converties en USD $ afin d’obtenir une valeur totale finale
la liste a ensuite été triée et les distinctions attribuées en fonction du classement obtenu
les distinctions ont été annoncées en février 2011, sur la base des ventes réalisées en 2010, d’où le nom 2010-2011
