UtraEdit for Mac offers several tools for basic text editing and full-fledged development in languages such as C, Objective C, Javascript, XML, PHP, Perl and Python. It includes advanced features such as Find in Files, Replace in Files, native FTP/FTPS, macros, scripting and column mode.

  • Reindent Selection - Alleviates the headache of manually reformatting code by automatically reindenting data based on your tab and indent settings.
  • XML Convert to Line Terminators - Automatically add hard returns to XML data and reindent/reformat XML using your tab and indent settings.
  • Print Functionality - Tweak your page layout with settings for header, footer, page margins and print fonts.
  • Project Specific Wordfiles - Set a path to a specific wordfile to provide special syntax highlighting for different projects.
