MadCap Analyzer 8 released

MadCap Analyzer is an analytic tool for your MadCap Flare projects. It helps you find critical issues immediately, such as missing content or broken links, and non-critical technical issues such as unused style sheets or images. Create custom reports and share information with documentation teams and managers to identify issues, track progress and ensure quality and efficiency in your documentation.

• Insert cross references (rather than hyperlinks) automatically when dragging topics from the File List into the XML Editor.
• Create custom date/time variables and insert them into topics or snippets.
• New global dictionaries can be used by all MadCap projects on your computer.
• Float an element (such as a topic) by dragging it down until it floats.
• Preview thumbnail images directly within the XML Editor.
• Work locally and push changes to a remote Git repository, then pull files to your local Git database.
• Added Microsoft Team Foundation Server support for projects managed using Microsoft Visual Studio Online.
• Pin your favorite project files to keep them at the top of the project list.
