TX Text Control is a royalty-free programming component that offers an extensive palette of word processing features. It gives your application the ability to read, edit and create documents in most popular formats such as RTF, Microsoft Word (including Microsoft Word XP), HTML, CSS and XML.

TX Text Control .NET is available in the following editions:

Updates in X13

  • Shapes and Drawings - Insert and edit Microsoft Word compatible drawings and shapes.
  • New Merge Blocks - This new element is a range of text that includes other elements such as tables, paragraphs, merge fields, images or shapes. It makes template design more intuitive.
  • Performance Boost - Using merging blocks during Mail Merging has increased overall performance up to 40%.
  • Undo Grouping - A user-defined undo step can now be defined.
  • New Dialog Boxes - TX Text Control X13 provides new dialog boxes to insert symbol characters, hyperlinks and bookmarks.
  • Unicode Bullet Characters - The bullet character is no longer limited to the Windows Symbol font, it can now be any Unicode character.
  • Extended Document Properties - Document properties including keywords, author or creation date can be exported to all supported text formats.
  • Inserting Text Frames - A new built-in mouse interface can be used to insert a text frame into a document.
