  • Common
    • Fluent theme - The Fluent theme has been added with light and dark variants to all Syncfusion Blazor UI components.
    • Preview to production - The Signature component has been developed to meet industry standards. The component is now marked as production-ready for Blazor.
  • Carousel (Preview)
    • The new Carousel component shows a collection of items one at a time like a slideshow. Typical uses of carousels include scrolling news headlines, featured articles on home pages, and image galleries.
  • Charts
    • Keyboard Navigation - This feature allows users to use the keyboard to navigate through interactive elements on the chart.
    • Border for Area Charts - Added border support for charts types like Area, Spline area, Step area, Range area, and Stacked area.
    • Tooltip improvement - Improved the appearance of the tooltip and added animation for smooth transition when moving from one point to another in a chart.
    • Legend spacing - This feature allows the user to customize the space between the legends in the chart.
  • Dashboard Layout
    • Drag and drop improvements - The Dashboard Layout panels can now be dragged smoothly in the Blazor WASM application.
  • DataGrid
    • Reactive aggregation - This feature helps you to dynamically update aggregate cells’ values without refreshing the entire Blazor DataGrid component. In batch edit mode, the aggregate values will be refreshed on every cell save. The footer, group footer, and group caption aggregate values will be refreshed.
    • PDF-exported grid cell customization - Added the ability to customize PDF-exported DataGrid header and content styles, such as changing the header and content text orientation, the font color, the width of the header and content text, and so on.
  • Diagram
    • Text node - This feature allows users to add text directly to the diagram page, independent of any shape or element in the diagram. Like other node types, you can select, drag, resize, and rotate a text node and edit its text by double-clicking on it and then typing new text. You can use a text node to insert a heading or to provide additional information for the diagram.
  • Microsoft Word Library
    • Word-to-PDF conversion in WASM - The Word library now supports Word-to-PDF conversion in Blazor WASM applications. This feature allows users to convert Microsoft Word documents to PDF files while maintaining styles, images, charts, tables, shapes, comments, and page setup options. Note: As SkiaSharp graphics library’s support for Blazor WebAssembly is in the preview stage, it is not recommended to use this feature for production use.
  • Word Processor
    • Comment-only restriction - This feature keeps users from editing a Word document except for adding or modifying comments. Using this restriction type, you can allow all the reviewers to view the document and add their suggestions as comments. But they cannot change anything in the document. Later, you can read their suggestions and act upon them or not as desired.
    • Paragraph auto spacing - This feature allows the user to set the spacing before or after paragraphs automatically in a Word document.
    • Screen tip for hyperlinks - You can now add or modify the screen tip text for hyperlinks in a Word document. By default, the address text is displayed as a tooltip on hovering over a hyperlink, but specified text will display when the screen tip text is defined.
  • Microsoft Excel Library
    • Excel-to-PDF in WASM - The XlsIO library now supports Excel-to-PDF conversion in Blazor WASM applications. This feature allows users to convert Excel documents to PDFs while maintaining styles, images, charts, tables, shapes, comments, and various page setup options. Note: As SkiaSharp graphics library’s support for Blazor WebAssembly is in the preview stage, it is not recommended to use this feature for production use.
  • Gantt Chart
    • Performance improvements - Improved the initial rendering performance by about three times when loading a large number of tasks or resources in the control.
  • Linear Gauge
    • Pointer animation - Linear Gauge pointer types like marker and bar pointers can now be animated. The animation duration specifies how long the animation will last, and multiple pointers can be animated simultaneously.
  • Maps
    • Layer animation - The layers in the Maps component can now be animated, resulting in smooth transitions when zooming and panning.
  • PDF Library
    • Performance improvements - This release includes the following improvements:
      • The PDF Library converts PDF to PDF/A format 2.5 times faster than before.
      • Annotation flattening is now 30 times faster.
    • Convert PDF/A conformance document to normal PDF document - The PDF library now supports converting the PDF/A conformance PDF document to a normal PDF document. It helps to remove the long-term archiving from PDFs and add any additional content on that PDF file.
  • PDF Viewer
    • Now works on Linux and Apple Mac with Microsoft .NET 6.0 framework - The System.Drawing.Common dependency has been replaced with SkiaSharp to enable deployment in Linux or Mac with .NET 6.0.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint Library
    • PowerPoint-to-PDF conversion in WASM - The PowerPoint Library now supports PowerPoint-to-PDF conversion in Blazor WASM applications. This feature allows users to convert PowerPoint documents to PDF files while maintaining styles, images, charts, tables, shapes, comments, and page setup options. Note: As SkiaSharp graphics library’s support for Blazor WebAssembly is in the preview stage, it is not recommended to use this feature for production use.
  • Scheduler
    • Improvement in WASM Scheduler - Improved the initial rendering and CRUD operation performance ~3x when loading a large number of resources and appointments in the Scheduler.
    • Virtual scrolling in timeline year view - This feature allows users to load only the visible items in the view port and load the remaining items on scrolling, which improves the Scheduler component’s performance while loading a large number of resources and appointments in the timeline year view.
