기능

Altova XMLSpy Enterprise XML Editor

  • Validation on edit - The new Validate on Edit feature flags validation and well-formedness errors as you type in Text View and JSON Grid View. Every text change triggers validation in the background, so you can fix errors and immediately see if they are valid without the need to manually validate the file. Detailed information about validation or well-formedness errors is available in the messages window or on mouse-over of the error icon in Text View as well as in JSON Grid View.
  • Auto-backup of documents during editing - XMLSpy can now automatically backup any file as it’s being edited. This way, in the unlikely event of a software or computer shutdown, the user won’t lose their work.
  • Improvements to XPath Debugger - The XPath Debugger in XMLSpy lets developers move step-by-step through the evaluation of an XPath or XQuery expression against the active file to analyze the results for the corresponding step of the evaluation. At each evaluation step, the part of the expression being currently evaluated is highlighted and the result of evaluating that step is shown in the Results pane. Now, in v2020r2, even more helpful details are provided in the call stack window: Users can now see the context and variables at each step in the call stack. This, in addition to speed improvements in the XPath Debugger, make testing and debugging XPath/XQuery easier than ever.
  • New namespace options in generated (C++, C#, Java) code - When generating Java, C#, or C++ program code from an XML Schema, programmers can now create elements with user-defined namespace prefixes, a frequent customer request.
  • Support for X3D files - XMLSpy provides built-in support for numerous file types, with support added in v2020r2 for X3D (eXtensible 3D), a file format used for representing and communicating 3D scenes and objects embedded in applications.
  • Support for additional database versions - Support for Informix, PostgreSQL, and SQLite in XMLSpy and other Altova products has been updated to include the latest versions of those databases:
    • Informix 14.10
    • PostgreSQL 12
    • SQLite 3.31
  • Integration with Eclipse 4.13 and 4.14

Altova MapForce Enterprise Edition

  • Microsoft Excel output: option to update existing documents - This new feature allows you to write directly to nicely formatted Excel files to update data at runtime: any designated worksheets, rows, and cells from the specified file will be replaced with data from the mapping and all formatting in the existing file will be preserved as-is.
  • All new Library Management system - MapForce includes a comprehensive data processing function library, and developers may also import libraries and build and save user-defined functions. In MapForce 2020r2, a new Manage Libraries window has been introduced to make this process more flexible and straightforward.
  • New namespace options in generated (C++, C#, Java) code - When program code is auto-generated in C++, C#, or Java based on XML data mapping projects in MapForce, new methods are available to declare or override namespaces for an element, or to append an element with a prefixed namespace.
  • Extended support for UN/EDIFACT - When mapping EDIFACT EDI messages, MapForce provides support for numerous versions of the UN/EDIFACT standard, now updated to include 2019A and 2019B.
  • Support for additional database versions - MapForce supports mapping data in any of the most popular databases, and in this release support is added for new versions of:
    • Informix 14.10
    • PostgreSQL 12
    • SQLite 3.31
  • Integration with Eclipse 4.13 and 4.14 - MapForce offers optional integration with Eclipse, adding support for its latest versions in this release.

Altova StyleVision Enterprise Edition

  • Improvements in XPath Debugger - The XPath Debugger introduced in StyleVision 2020 lets designers move step-by-step through the evaluation of an XPath expression to analyze the results for the corresponding step of the evaluation. At each evaluation step, the part of the expression being currently evaluated is highlighted and the result of evaluating that step is shown in the Results pane. Now, in v2020r2, even more helpful details are provided in the call stack window: you can now see the context and variables at each step in the call stack, as shown in the screenshot to the right. This, in addition to speed improvements in the XPath Debugger, make testing and debugging XPath in StyleVision easier than ever.
  • Support for FOP 2.4 - For producing PDF output from XML, database, or XBRL sources, StyleVision now supports the latest version of the Apache FOP (Formatting Objects Processor).
  • Support for additional database versions - StyleVision and all database-enabled Altova products now support the latest version of the following databases:
    • Informix 14.10
    • PostgreSQL 12
    • SQLite 3.31
  • Integration with latest IDE versions - StyleVision supports seamless integration with Eclipse with support extended to versions 4.13 and 4.14.

Altova UModel Enterprise Edition

  • Support for Java 13 - UModel provides code generation and reverse engineering of numerous versions of Java, C#, C++, and VB .NET, with support added now for the latest version of Java.

  • Support for XMI 2.5.1 - UModel supports importing and exporting projects in XMI (XML Metadata Interchange) format, with support updated for the latest version of the XMI specification.
  • Extension to API for access to messages window - The UModel COM API has been extended to allow reporting of info, warning, and error messages to the messages window instead of dialog boxes. This has been requested by customers to make reviewing and addressing these messages easier.
  • Support for additional database versions - UModel now supports connecting to the latest version of the following databases:
    • Informix 14.10
    • PostgreSQL 12
    • SQLite 3.31
  • Support for Eclipse 4.13, 4.14 - UModel supports the most recent versions of the Eclipse IDE.

Altova DataBaseSpy Enterprise Edition

  • SQL execution summary - DatabaseSpy now provides an execution summary that is particularly useful when executing a lengthy SQL script with numerous statements. The summary lists the number of successful statements and the number of errors reported by the database, if any, so that they can be addressed immediately.
  • Additional options for result row formatting - For quick analysis, the DatabaseSpy SQL editor lets users define conditional formatting of query results displayed in the Results window. In addition to defining background colors and font weight and style, new options are now available for choosing font family and size based on custom SQL conditions, to refine data presentation even further.
  • Support for additional database versions - DatabaseSpy and all database-enabled Altova products now support the latest version of the following databases:
