Important Licensing Information: Please note that there may be a delay before you can use this software as a License File has to be generated using your order details.
- Automatic Registration: We will register your details on the Change Vision members site and the XML license file will be sent to you automatically. The License start date will be set to your order date. (If you do not wish to use the software immediately, please choose the Manual Registration option so you can delay your start date.)
- Manual Registration: You will need to register your details on the Change Vision members site, once logged on please go to the license registration section and register the license number and verification code issued to you in your order. The License start date will be set to the date you register. The XML license file will then be generated for you to download.
Perpetual License (Automatic Registration):
Suitable for both corporate and personal use (Licenses can be transferred if used in a corporation). Software upgrades and technical support are included for the first year. After the initial year, you can choose the Support Renewal option to continue to receive software upgrades and support for another year.
The license file for perpetual licenses will be sent to you automatically by email as soon as possible.
Annual Single License (Automatic or Manual Registration):
Suitable for corporations with less than 9 users and also for personal short term projects (Less than a year) it includes use of the software, upgrades and technical support for one (1) year. After one year, the software will no longer function unless another Annual License is purchased. For corporations with over 10 users, we recommend you purchase Node-Count Licenses for easier license management.
Annual Organizational License (Automatic or Manual Registration):
The Organizational License is the most effective way to purchase for large teams with over 10 users. This works in a similar way to floating licensing. A license administrator can assign licenses to team members and licenses can be returned once a user no longer needs it and re-distributed to another user.The Organizational License is available in 10, 25, 50 and 100 packs and it is an annual license.
Academic Annual License (Manual Registration):
For individuals: Available to both individual students and faculties of educational institutions, including colleges, universities and online courses. Submission of proof of Academic Identification is required. After one year, the software will no longer function unless another Annual License is purchased.
Faculty Site License: This is the most economical way to make Astah available in classrooms, teaching and research labs and on personal computers. Everyone in a qualified department of an educational institution is able to use Astah. You will need to complete an application form and send documental proof showing the license administrator’s current academic status. After one year, the software will no longer function unless another Annual License is purchased.This is included Astah Pro, Astah SysML, Astah GSN and Astah System Safety.
To retrieve your Academic License file you will need to register your details on the Change Vision members site, once logged on please go to the license registration section and register the license number and verification code issued to you in your order. The XML license file will then be generated for you to download.
Support Renewal License (Manual Registration): Available to perpetual license holders only in order to renew support, software upgrades and technical support for another one-year. To extend your support you will need to logon to the Change Vision members site and go to license registration section in order to enter the license number and validation code issued to you.
