Updates in XE4

• Multi-Device, True Native Apps - Develop one code base and compile apps for multiple devices (PCs, tablets and smartphones). Now including iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod).
• Develop Apps for iPhone and iPad - Developers can now write iOS mobile apps. These iOS apps will have fast native performance and better security than web-based or scripting language based apps.
• iOS User Interface Controls - You get a full range of native styled user interface controls, including buttons, listboxes and combo boxes.
• Rapid Prototyping for iOS - Build your iPhone or iPad app and immediately send it over to the iOS device for previewing.
• IBLite and SQLite iOS Database Support - iOS apps created with Delphi XE4 support Apple’s built in SQLite database. They also support IBLite, a free database developers can distribute with their apps.
• iOS Database and Cloud Connectivity - Delphi XE4 brings iOS apps into the DataSnap and FireDAC folds. iOS apps can connect to the same collection of databases (on-device and external) and cloud services that desktop apps can.
• FireMonkey FM3 - FireMonkey provides iOS Support in this release, powering all the capabilities for multi-device development.
