• Adaptive Chart Element Layout - Hide chart elements (legends, titles, axes) and change element position automatically for more effective visual presentation of data.
• Chart Text Annotations - You can now use HTML tags in the annotation's Text property.
• Dynamic Chart Customization - Once a chart is created, end-users can customize its settings (type, layout, styles, underlying data range, etc.) via the built-in context menu.
• New Excel Data Export Engine - The Grid control uses a new, more powerful Excel data export engine. Both the performance and memory usage of this new engine has been significantly improved.
• Spreadsheet Protection - Obscure data or formulas and prevent users from viewing or making changes to data.
• Spreadsheet Printing - Print workbook contents via a built-in Ribbon UI.
• Spreadsheet Text Search - Easily locate data within any worksheet.
• Fullscreen Mode - With this release, the DevExpress ASP.NET Spreadsheet Control can be maximized to occupy the browser's entire client region.
• Ribbon Dialog Box Launcher - An arrow icon (dialog box launcher) is displayed at the bottom right corner of a ribbon group, allowing you to implement the desired functionality whenever the icon is clicked.
• Ribbon Drop-Down Toggle Button - This release includes a ribbon drop-down button with toggle functionality.
• Pivot Grid Server Mode for LINQ and Entity Framework - Designed to work with large datasets consisting of more than 200,000 records.
• Pivot Grid Virtual Scrolling - The built-in pager is replaced by a scrollbar to dynamically load data and switch to the corresponding page.
• Add Media Content - The ASP.NET HTML Editor allows you to insert several media objects into content including Video, Audio, Flash or YouTube videos.
• Scheduler Full Week View - The Full Week view displays appointments for all days within a specific week. It is designed to replace the current Week view and allows you to specify the first day of the week.
• Scheduler Time Zones - Time Zones now rely on information provided by the .NET Framework. Proprietary methods used to obtain time zone information have been deprecated.
• Binary Image Control - Resize and crop images on the server, significantly reducing the amount of data sent to the client.
• Support for Cloud Providers - Three new file system providers for today's most popular cloud services: Amazon Web Services, Azure and Dropbox.
• ASP.NET Adaptive Panels - With this release, you can build adaptive web pages using the Web panel control.
