What's new in NetAdvantage for Sharepoint?
The SharePoint grid presents data from a SharePoint list or a Microsoft Business Connectivity Services (BCS) External Content Type. Features include:
- Rapid-View Design - Add, remove or re-order list columns
- Sorting - Apply ascending or descending order for one or more columns
- Group By - Organize records in one or more columns within a grid as primary and secondary groups
- Filtering - In addition to the default SharePoint list view filtering, there are several grid-specific filters including “Does Not Contain,” “Ends With” and “Date Time Conditions”
- Paging - Divide the data into pages for better performance and readability
- Column Resizing - Change the width of the grid’s columns
- Tooltips - Get additional information by hovering the mouse cursor over a grid cell.
- Column Summary - Apply aggregate functions to a given column based on data type.
- Inline Data Editing - Update, delete, or add rows. These changes reflect in the bound SharePoint list or External Content Type.
- Auto-refresh Data - Refreshing the values from the data provider at a predefined period of time.
- SharePoint Theme Consistency - Get the SharePoint theme fonts and color scheme to look consistent with the rest of the web application design.
The Version Timeline is an innovative web part that will show you the version history of a document in a Document Library across a horizontal timeline. The core of this web part is our Timeline control. Views and Features include:
- Minor and Major Version View
- Time Spans definitions, e.g., last week, last month, etc
- Filter by user
- Ability to compare item versions
The Content Rotator is configurable and will rotate rich content like your web site banners or customer videos. This web part allows you to point to content from more than one library in any order you choose without affecting the content rotation. Transition your rich content with common animations like fade or slide-left, and keep your audience informed with the latest announcements and product offerings. Key features include:

Handle high volumes of data ranging into the millions of data points. You can even create charts with multiple series of different data types from different data sources. Data Chart types include:

Create dashboards of Key Performance Indicators by binding your data to the Gauge web part. You can customize both radial and linear gauges. Features include ranges, labels, damping, scales, tick marks, needles, end user interactivity.
- Radial Gauge - Use the multi-scale, round or semi-round Radial Gauge dials and create key performance indicators with the look and feel of an automotive console or aircraft cockpit.
- Linear Gauge - Use the Linear Gauge in the same way you would use a classic thermometer. Display values as one or more straight line measurements that you can orient vertically or horizontally.
Using open data sources like Microsoft Bing, Open Street Map and CloudMade, you can build interactive multi-layered maps. The web part is modularly designed and includes the following key features:
