• Added support for Microsoft Windows Server 2025, ensuring compatibility with the latest Windows Server version.

  • DesignerControl: Added support in both .NET 6 and .NET 8 assemblies.
  • Made RepositoryItemDescriptor IDisposable to enable more deterministic resource disposal. The wrapped COM object is now released immediately once Dispose() is called. Also, refactored all consumers of this object to ensure proper disposal.
• Web Components
  • Web Report Designer:
    • An object can now be copied to a layer, automatically creating a duplicate object that is assigned to the selected layer.
    • Enhanced the visibility of the active language in the language selector dropdown on the top menu bar.
    • Enhanced spacing in the gauge edit mode for background, glass, and pointer options on devices with small screens.
    • Improved the display of errors encountered while loading the Web Report Designer.
  • Web Report Viewer: Improved the display of errors encountered while loading the Web Report Viewer.
• Designer
  • For very small text objects (commonly used for labels), placement was challenging because the paint optimization for selected objects could slightly shift the texts. This optimization is now disabled for fonts sized less than 8 pt (and if the text contains only one line).
  • The formula function "IBAN$" now only returns an empty string when processing an invalid IBAN without causing a formula error to not prevent any further formula evaluation.
  • Prevented unnecessary interpolation loop in between values of a line diagram if determined upfront that no values would be inserted.

  • Improved LL_OPTION_ENHANCED_SKIPRETURNATENDOFRTF: Setting the value to "2" now checks for the special case of an enumeration at the end of the RTF stream.
  • "Date" report parameters have been reduced to a date, with the time value truncated. The new option, LL_OPTION_ALLOW_TIME_IN_REPORT_PARAMETER (index 427, default: FALSE), now allows the retention of the time value.

  • Debwin: Improvements for long term logging. Changed interval from 1 hour to 15 minutes. Improved memory usage.
• Other
  • Temporary TTF fonts extracted during PDF rendering are now immediately deleted upon shutdown.
  • UtilDocXxx interface: PDF Documents: Improved parsing for complicated document info.
• Reporting
  • Internetmarke: Updated the compatibility of the Deutsche Post price list from 01.01.2025.
