Features:

  • RTF to Word Conversion
    Essential DocIO now supports converting Rich Text Format (.rtf) files into Word documents and vice versa. Text formatting, paragraph formatting, images, and tables in an RTF file can be easily imported into a Word document.

Fixes:

  • The issue regarding the preservation of table padding has been resolved
  • Document properties will now be preserved in 64-bit machines
  • The issue has been resolved regarding mail-merging when merge fields are present inside a text box
  • The issue that occurred with fields when invoking the AcceptChanges() method has been resolved
  • Table formatting will now be preserved after invoking the WTableCell.GetIndexOf() method
  • The corruption issue that occurred when converting a .doc file to a .docx file has been fixed

  • Text will now be preserved within a cell

  • The issue has been fixed with mail-merging when merge fields are specified in title-case format
  • A "Null Reference" exception is not longer thrown when cloning a document
  • Setting fields in .docx format now behaves correctly
  • An exception no longer occurs when opening a .docx file
  • Formatting issues have been fixed when importing HTML content into a Word document
  • Formatting issues during Word to PDF conversion have been resolved
