Effizientes Bereitstellen von MSIX Sparse-Paketen

Master Packager is an application packaging tool for creating and modifying Microsoft Windows Installer files such as MSI and MST, as well as for repackaging other installations to MSI format. With this tool, it is possible to fully automate repackaging which will increase quality and reduce human errors as capturing, building and applying templates can be fully automated.

With Master Packager 24.1.8774 you can now install MSIX sparse packages by using a predefined Install MSIX Custom Action, which allows for a faster and more efficient deployment of MSIX sparse packages. Unlike a full MSIX package, the core application files remain separate, installed through traditional methods like MSI or EXE. The sparse package houses only an AppxManifest.xml file referencing the external location of core files and enabling selective integration with the modern Windows app platform.
