ComponentOne Studio Xamarin Edition has been renamed to Xuni Xamarin.

The 2016 v2 release includes the following new controls and improvements.

  • New Control
    • Input - First Release includes XuniAutoComplete, XuniMaskedEntry, XuniDropDown, and XuniComboBox controls.
  • Calendar Improvements
    • Added a decade view that gets displayed when the user taps the month header twice.
    • Added HeaderMonthFormat property to support common date format specifiers such as "MMM" that displays the abbreviated month name and "MMMM" displays the full month name.
    • Added HeaderLoading event that fires before the header content as loaded allowing you to override it. Use this event if your desired format cannot be achieved using the HeaderMonthFormat property alone.
    • Currently selected date gets highlighted in year and decade views.
  • FlexChart Improvements
    • Improved header and footer text to wrap when it becomes too long or space becomes too small.
    • Improved Candle/HLOC tooltip content to include X value.
    • Added more padding between tick mark and labels on X Axis.
    • Added top padding between Header and top bounds.
    • Added more padding between AxisX labels so they are easier to read.
  • FlexGrid Breaking Changes
    • Renamed the GridQuadrant class to GridPanel.
  • FlexGrid Improvements
    • Improved rendering speed when column’s Binding property was misspelled.
    • Added GridColumn.ColumnName property.
    • Added ColumnHeaders, RowHeaders and TopLeftCells collections for managing multi-line column and row headers.
    • Added PrepareCellForEdit event.
    • Added GridColumn.SortDirection property.
    • Added GridColumn.SortMemberPath property.
  • FlexPie Improvements
    • Improved header and footer text to wrap when it becomes too long or space becomes too small.

    • Fixed the issue where axis-X label is not displayed in BarChart if Axis-Y's labelVisible set to False.
    • Fixed the issue where LineMarker's PositionChanged event is not fired.
    • Fixed the issue where the last value of AxisX label is not serialized and forms a space before the last value of AxisX label.
    • Fixed the issue related to tooltip placement for Ellipse annotations.
    • Fixed the issue related to new series animation when LoadAnimationMode is Point.
    • Fixed the issue where the application crashes when a zoomed chart is rotated.
    • Fixed the issue where bar chart does not rotates when Rotate is set true.
    • Fixed the issue where the NullPointerException is thrown when points are added or removed after rotating device orientation.
    • Fixed the issue related to header/footer TextColor and Font properties.
    • Fixed the issue where axis label does not shows string values when data is directly bound to the series.
    • Fixed the issue related to axis labels visibility when LabelsVisible is set to 'False'.
    • Fixed the issue where an exception is thrown when series value contains NULL in Scatter chart type.
    • Fixed the issue where Foundation.MonoTouchException is thrown when annotation's PointIndex is no longer on the chart after removing data points at runtime.
    • Fixed the issue where legend icon is not shown in selection style when its respective series got selected on Line chart for iOS.
    • Fixed the issue where the line marker does not appear at the specified series data points in Column/Bar chart type.
    • Fixed the issue related to axis position after setting axis position to an inappropriate position.
    • Fixed load animation for all chart types other than column and bar when data source is changed at runtime.
    • Fixed the issue related to Y-axis labels visibility when series is hidden by legend toggle.
    • Fixed tooltip position when AxisX is reversed.
  • FlexGrid Bug Fixes
    • Fixed the sort icon to display on any column with SortMemberPath set to the sorted column.
    • Fixed the issue where FullTextFilterBehavior highlight caused cell to go blank.
  • FlexPie Bug Fixes
    • Fixed the issue where an exception is thrown when application exits while loading animation is in progress.
    • Fixed the number of data labels that appear when items are removed from the ItemsSource.
