New Feature

To support customers developing their own SharePoint applications and wanting to use fast and reliable document conversion engine this release introduces public API to our engine which can be programmatically accessed from any SharePoint application to perform document conversion. This API covers all supported file formats and conversion options for both single and multiple document conversions, and is available both under WSS and MOSS.

• 10863 - Result list should have filtering option
• 12182 - A debug assertion when unregistering the trace log provider
• 12237 - Investigate a possibility of checking destination url which would not involve elevated security context
• 12479 - It is possible to overwrite source files with conversion results before source files are converted (xml only)
• 12480 - It is possible to overwrite the source file when converting xml files
• 12481 - Both xml formats not disabled in the GUI when converting an xml file
• 12713 - Access Denied page is shown during conversion
• 13560 - Exceptions are not handled when converting a file to a stream
• 13607 - Fix file name checking for invalid chars
• 13724 - The file is converted to the hidden folder successfully
