One Software License is required per named user.

The Single User Named License is perpetual and includes a 1 Year Subscription providing technical support and product updates.

Subscription is renewable on an annual basis. If you do not renew the subscription then you will still be able to use the software but you will no longer be entitled to technical support or product updates.
