A combobox Web Components control is a user interface element that combines an input field with a dropdown list, allowing users to either type a value directly or select from predefined options. It is commonly used to simplify data entry, particularly when the input must match a set of known values. By supporting features such as filtering, autocomplete, and keyboard navigation, a combobox enhances accessibility and improves the user experience in forms or interactive components. It also helps maintain consistency and validation in data-driven applications by reducing the likelihood of input errors.

Several Web Components Data Editors offer a combobox including:

  • Wijmo Input and Editors (part of Wijmo by MESCIUS) lets you create lightweight comboboxes with autocomplete, custom item templates, keyboard navigation, and support for bound data.
  • jQWidgets Data Editors (part of jQWidgets) allows you to use combobox controls with built-in filtering, keyboard support, dynamic item rendering, and integration with local data.
  • SmartUI (Smart HTML Elements) Data Editors (part of SmartUI (Smart HTML Elements)) provides customizable combobox components with live search, keyboard interaction, templated items, and compatibility with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Infragistics Ignite UI for Web Components Data Editors (part of Infragistics Ignite UI), lets you configure comboboxes supporting filtering, single selection, keyboard navigation, and large dataset handling via virtualization.

Carica i file in blocco con un maggiore controllo

Settembre 22, 2025

Queuing multiple files for upload in .NET components refers to the ability to stage several files for transfer either sequentially or in parallel, rather than requiring each to be uploaded individually. This capability is especially valuable in applications where users need to upload large sets of files - such as images, documents, or backups - without manually initiating each upload. It enhances efficiency by automating the process, supporting better resource management and enabling features such as progress tracking, retry mechanisms, and batch error handling. When integrated with protocols like FTP (File Transfer Protocol), this feature becomes critical for systems that handle bulk file distribution, content management, or remote data archiving. For instance, a content management system might allow editors to upload an entire gallery at once, while a backup tool could automatically queue system logs for nightly FTP transfer.

Several .NET Comms & Messaging components support queuing multiple files for upload including:

  • IPWorks SFTP .NET Edition by /n software enables queuing of multiple files for upload or download, then processes all transfers together with control over simultaneous transfer limits.
  • Telerik Upload for ASP.NET Core (part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core) lets you select and queue multiple files before uploading, with individual progress tracking and validation.
  • Xceed FTP for .NET by Xceed Software facilitates sending or receiving many files in bulk, with support for wildcards, filtering, resume, and asynchronous operations.

Typically embedded within text, tables/grids, or dashboards, sparklines are small-scale, data-driven graphics that present trends, patterns, or fluctuations within a dataset in a visually compact format. Unlike full-scale charts, sparklines do not include axes or labels, allowing them to present time-series or categorical data in a condensed form to deliver immediate visual cues without interrupting the flow of surrounding content. This design makes sparklines well-suited for highlighting patterns and changes over time or comparing multiple values side-by-side whilst helping users quickly identify key insights without leaving the context of the data.

Several Vue.js charting components offer sparkline functionality, including:

  • DevExtreme Chart (part of DevExtreme Complete by DevExpress) lets you render compact sparklines directly within grids or dashboards, offering quick visual insights into dynamic data changes.
  • Highcharts Core by Highsoft allows you to embed minimalist sparklines in tables or reports, presenting trends clearly without additional charting overhead.
  • Kendo UI for Vue Chart (part of Kendo UI by Telerik) supports lightweight sparklines to visualize patterns inline, making them ideal for summarizing series data in grids.
  • amCharts 5: Charts facilitates the creation of embedded sparklines, effectively conveying trends in small spaces without distracting from surrounding interface elements.

Aggiungi i dati correlati con sottoreport incorporati

Settembre 22, 2025

A subreport in a report component is a report embedded within another report, designed to present related or supplementary data that may not fit naturally into the main report’s structure. It is typically used when displaying hierarchical, grouped, or master-detail relationships, such as showing order items within a customer order summary. Subreports can be independently designed and then linked to the main report using parameters or shared data sources. This modular approach improves report organization and reusability, especially when similar data blocks are needed across multiple reports or sections within a complex reporting solution.

Several Angular Reporting controls offer support for subreports including:

  • DevExpress Reporting lets you embed subreports in Angular via its Web Report Viewer/Designer, supporting master‑detail hierarchies, parameters, and data binding.
  • ActiveReportsJS by MESCIUS allows placing Subreport controls in main reports, passing parameters, nesting subreports, and sourcing subreports by filename or URL.
  • Stimulsoft Reports.JS facilitates subreport components by letting you add them via a designer, link to separate data sources, and configure layout and rendering properties.

Telerik Report Server is a comprehensive and flexible end-to-end solution for managing reports. Built with the Telerik Reporting library, it is a server-based Windows web application that provides centralized storage, organization, and previewing of reports, along with features for scheduling, delivery, and user management. Report Server can act as a standalone solution or be integrated within an application, allowing developers to create, manage, and distribute reports across multiple platforms including Blazor, Angular and Windows Forms.

The Telerik Report Server 2025 Q3 update introduces white-labeling, allowing development teams to align the Report Server web application and Standalone Report Designer with their organization’s visual standards. This capability enables administrators to replace default branding elements such as colors, logos, and favicons with enterprise-specific assets, creating a consistent user interface across internal systems. By integrating into existing environments, the update helps reduce visual fragmentation, improve user trust, and improve the experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
