AttributeX is an ActiveX component that lets developers extract or modify attribute values from dwg files directly without the need of AutoCAD. Extract attribute values from dwg files, add or modify attribute values in dwg files directly, supports DWG and DXF in versions from R14 to 2016. AutoDWG AttributeX works independently of AutoCAD and supports multiple programming languages. Using Attribute-X, you can quickly add new AutoCAD attributes or make changes to the AutoCAD attributes of the block references in multiple drawings.

Standalone utility - AutoCAD not required
This full featured Attribute ActiveX Control is a completely standalone utility, don't require any products from AutoDesk to use this converter.

Integrate in your own programs
ActiveX is a software framework created by Microsoft which adapts its earlier Component Object Model (COM) and Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) technologies. You could embed this program to your own software. And if you get the distribution license, you also could distribute the software to any other users.

Supports multiple programming languages
This program is standard windows active-x control, which was developed in VC++, it will work with all windows based development environments, such as Visual C++, VB, Delphi, FoxPro, VBScript, JavaScript, etc.
