One software license is required per machine.

Professional License (limited to 2 per organization) includes:

• Compiler
• EiffelStudio IDE
• Libraries
• Code analyzer (no limit)
• 1 simultaneous device
• Installed on 2 device
• 3 months Basic support

A Professional license is the standard licensing option for individuals doing business using EiffelStudio. An organization can not use more than 2 Professional licenses. If you need more please contact us to get a quote for an Enterprise License.

Academic Licenses are available for non-commercial use in research and academic developments, please contact us if you would like a quote.

Platforms:
Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux, macOS (depending on the license).

Device:
A machine where the product is installed.

Simultaneous device(s):
The number of product instances that may run at the same time across different devices. Add-ons can increase this limit.

Commercial usage:
Use in a business, organization, client project, or any revenue-generating activity. Personal licenses are for non-commercial use only; use a Professional or Enterprise license for commercial work.

Perpetual Fallback License
The license includes a perpetual fallback license that allows you to use a specific version of EiffelStudio without an active subscription for it.
