Recursos

  • Support for high-PPI monitors - XMLSpy 2019 has had an extensive UI revamp to fully support high-PPI (pixel per inch) monitors, such as UHD, 4K, and so-called “Retina” displays. Developers working on high-PPI monitors will find the new UI to be sharper on screens of all sizes. Now, all specialized views - in particular, graphical views such as the XML Schema, XBRL, and WSDL editors - will be vivid and easy to read.
  • Support for additional database versions - XMLSpy now supports the latest version of the following databases:
    • Firebird 3
    • Informix 12.10
    • MariaDb 10.3
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2017
    • MySQL 8
    • PostgreSQL 10
    • In addition, SQL Server now runs on Linux, and XMLSpy can connect to that as well.
  • Support for XBRL Generic Preferred Label 1.0 - XBRL Generic Preferred Label is an extension of the XBRL specification that provides a syntax that makes labels more flexible. Standard XBRL labels are assigned to concepts (elements), and generic labels are assigned to generic resources (e.g., formulas, variables, tables, etc.). A concept/resource can have one or more labels assigned, and therefore the value of the preferredLabel attribute is the ability to choose between different labels that have been associated with the one concept. The standard XBRL specification provides this preferredLabel attribute for concept relationships in the presentation linkbase only. The generic preferred label, on the other hand, is available on any other relationship between concepts or resources, i.e., in definition, calculation, formula, or table linkbases. To access this functionality, developers can use the Details entry helper in the graphical XBRL Taxonomy Editor to specify preferred labels for XBRL resources.
  • Management of duplicate XBRL facts - Starting with Version 2019, XMLSpy can check instances for various types of duplicate facts. These options are enabled via the Detect Duplicate command in the XBRL menu. Any duplicates are reported in the Message window with details about the type of dupe detected, and clicking a reported duplicate will bring the user to the corresponding location in the XBRL instance document.
  • New entry helper for XBRL Typed Domain - A typed domain is the element declaration that is referenced by a typed dimension. The Details entry helper in the XBRL Taxonomy Editor includes a new Typed Domain tab that displays additional information about any typed domain referenced by a typed dimension definition.
  • Support for US-GAAP 2018 - XMLSpy 2019 ships with the most recently updated version of the US-GAAP XBRL taxonomy.
  • Support for Eclipse 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8 - XMLSpy supports integration with Eclipse, and now support is available for the most recent versions of the Eclipse IDE.
