Built on a super-charged data engine, this feature-rich control offers a modernized UI and lightning-fast processing that will give your users more power, speed, and reach than ever. FlexPivot will replace the current C1OLAP for WinForms and is available only in ComponentOne Studio and Ultimate.

Web API Edition is officially released with a new REST API

  • Generate an Excel file from a .NET collection, data table, data view, XML, or JSON data.
  • Convert between different formats including Excel, JSON, CSV, and XML documents. For instance, you can post an Excel file to get an XML document.
  • Merge multiple Excel files to create a single file and keep formulas and styles intact.
  • Generate a barcode image stream on the fly by passing text and code type through the API. The barcode stream can be added to any business document, and all major barcode types and QR codes are supported.

New Wijmo FlexSheet control - All the Top Spreadsheet Features you'll need
Produce an Excel-like experience in your web app with FlexSheet, a new control allowing users to import spreadsheets, apply formulas, and export data to Excel.Released as a sample in July 2015, FlexSheet is now a fully-supported control for Wijmo.

Enhancements include:

  • Use the official Excel Module to import and export Excel documents.
  • Export data grids to PDF using our new FlexGrid PDF sample.
  • Print and export chart and grid applications using our Print Document sample.
  • Based on the animations in Xuni, Wijmo now has a variety of animations built into FlexChart, FlexPie, and FinancialChart.
  • Wijmo FlexChart now supports zoom and pan with gestures.
  • Wijmo FinancialChart now includes two new features that are typically used to forecast an asset's market direction: overlays and indicators.

FlexChart Updates

  • LineMarker displays a single label on the chart with relevant, exact information about a single position. Users can drag the marker to reveal data point information anywhere on the plot.
  • Customized axis labels allow developers to organize the layout into a more mobile-friendly design, abbreviate longer numbers, and generally use screen real estate more effectively.

FlexGrid Updates

  • Star sizing allows columns to stretch and fill the available space, a common approach to mobile layouts that may be run on a multitude of device sizes.
  • Freezing columns and rows enables users to keep any number of cells frozen in view as the user scrolls, a critical feature for smaller screens.
  • Column resizing by touch enables end-users to resize columns, a common data grid feature made popular by Microsoft Excel.
