We have been using the Syncfusion charts for Wpf for about 4 months or so, and above all have been impressed with the customer service. We always get a response to our queries within a day (and their support team is in India). They give good responses and send sample code to give you an example of the solution to your question. Also, they do a good job with handling video conferences when such is necessary. We chose Syncfusion in the first place because we have some fairly heavy-duty scientific modeling graphics we need to display. Syncfusion charts provides fairly strong support for such graphs out of the box, and fit our needs far better than the other libraries reviewed such as telerik and devexpress. It also has the invaluable ability to create your own custom chart series, either via data templates for each point or by direct rendering. I have been happy with the overall quality of the product. A couple of downsides to the product: not all the properties of the charts are dependency properties, forcing you sometimes to subclass their classes in order to using bindings. Note that the typically data-bound properties ARE dependency properties. Our use of the graphs really push the charting software to its limits, so you might not have any issues. Also, if you have a very high number of points to graph, then I would suggest you use win forms version of the libraries, rather than the wpf version. NOTE that this is not a flaw with Syncfusion, but simply a limitation of wpf itself- all it's fanciness comes with a significant performance loss. Syncfusion does a lot to mitigate wpf's natural deficiencies in this area, with "fast charts" and such. This will probably be sufficient for most applications. But if you expect to have very high numbers of points, I would suggest you make a couple of test programs with the free trial of the software. If its too slow, consider using the winforms version. Note I have not tried that version, however.
