• Monitored Directory Enhancements - An Alternate Location section has been introduced in the Monitored Directory to manage application imports for package automation.
  • This enhancement allows you to configure the alternate location to copy or move applications directly from the Shared Directory to the New Directory, where you can then import the applications for package automation.
• Wrap MSIX Packages (.msix) to PowerShell Wrapped package (.ps1) - With this update, you can now wrap an MSIX package into a PowerShell Wrapped package (.ps1) using the Wrap Package Wizard.
• Enhanced Package Automation Capabilities - The AdminStudioHostService is a new Windows service designed to manage and maintain the background processes essential for AdminStudio's package automation capabilities.
  • Once installed and configured, this service ensures that AdminStudio Host remain active, allowing scheduled automation tasks to execute without requiring the AdminStudio user interface to be open.
• PowerShell Cmdlets / REST API Enhancements - The following new PowerShell Cmdlets and REST APIs have been added:
  • ASMonitoredDirectory - When you run this Cmdlets or API, it add configurations in the Monitored Directory.
  • Get- ASMonitoredDirectory - When you run this Cmdlets or API, it return the Monitored Directory details.
  • Set-ASMonitoredDirectory - When you run this Cmdlets or API, it updates the existing Monitored Directory using the Monitored Directory ID.
  • Remove-ASMonitoredDirectory - When you run this Cmdlets or API, it deletes the Monitored Directory configurations using the Monitored Directory ID.
