• Drawing Explorer:
  • The new Drawing Explorer provides a convenient tree-structured view of all elements in your drawing, including pages, layers, groups, and shapes. It makes it easy to locate, select, and manage hidden, grouped, or deeply nested elements that are difficult to access directly from the drawing surface.
• Background Pages:
  • Background pages allow you to display common graphical elements, such as company logos, watermarks, borders, and page backgrounds, across multiple drawing pages. Elements placed on a background page cannot be edited directly from the foreground page, helping keep diagrams organized and consistent. Background pages are automatically excluded from printing, PDF export, and Presentation View mode.
• Predefined Background Pages:
  • MyDraw now includes a collection of predefined background pages that can be applied to any drawing page using the dedicated Background drop-down button in the ribbon. These backgrounds are designed to synchronize with the current theme, making it easy to create professional and visually consistent diagrams.
• Improved Routing and Line Jumps:
  • The connector routing and line-jump algorithms have been significantly optimized. As a result, diagrams containing routable connectors and line jumps are faster to edit, update, and render, especially in larger drawings.
• Redesigned Start Screen:
  • The Start Screen has been completely redesigned to provide faster access to predefined templates, recent files, and documents stored in various locations, including your device, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
• Vector Icons:
  • The entire MyDraw user interface has been updated to use scalable vector icons for commands, tools, and diagram elements. This provides a sharper and more consistent appearance on high-resolution and 4K displays.
• Microsoft Visio Compatibility Improvements:
  • MyDraw's compatibility with Microsoft Visio has been enhanced with support for:
    • Import and export of background pages.
    • Improved handling of colors that use tint and shade variations.
    • Import of spline geometry commands.
    • Import of text direction settings.
• Family Tree Improvements:
  • Family Tree diagrams now support displaying gender symbols (male/female) alongside person names, making family relationships easier to identify at a glance.
