• Chart Control
  • Serialization - The chart control supports serialization to save and restore the state or behavior of a chart.
  • Multiple Selection - The chart control allows multiple selection and single selection on series and segments.
  • Histogram Adornments - Data labels can be added to the histogram series to identify data values.
  • Interactive Explode - Pie, pyramid, funnel, and doughnut slices can be interactively exploded.
  • Adjustable Data Labels - Data labels can be positioned based on the type of series.
• Range Navigator
  • Appearance Customization - The range navigator control provides rich customization for labels, thumbs, gridlines, and more.
  • Deferred Scrolling - Deferred scrolling delays the view update while dragging to improve scrolling performance.
• Data Grid Control
  • Search Support - The data grid control supports searching and highlighting text displayed in a cell. It also allows records to be filtered based on text.
  • New Rows in Details View - The data grid control supports adding new rows at run time in the Details view.
• Diagram Control
  • Organization Chart - A new automatic layout, the organizational chart, is now supported in the diagram control. It is used to display the structure of an organization and relationships.
• Essential Presentation
  • SmartArt diagrams - Essential Presentation supports creating and manipulating SmartArt diagrams. It also supports adding and removing nodes, editing node text, and formatting an individual node or entire SmartArt diagram.
• Essential PDF
  • Annotations - Annotations such as circles, ellipses, polylines, polygons, rectangles, and squares can be added in PDF documents, and existing annotations can be modified.
  • PDF Grid Enhancements - Support for adding HTML formatted text, hyperlinks, and more customizations through events has been added.
  • View and Add Annotations - Annotations such as ink, line, circle, rectangle, and text can be viewed, added, and saved to the PDF document.
• Rich Text Box
  • Spell Checker - The rich text box control supports checking and highlighting spelling errors.
